Who We Are?

My name is Suddha Jiva Das and my mission is to assist my spiritual father in bringing the message of Krishna consciousness to the Western world. At the age of 69 Srila Prabhupada traveled on a freight ship across the the Atlantic Ocean suffering from sea sickness and heart attacks, he thought, “My Dear Lord, how will I deliver your message to a foreign land where the cow is raised to slaughter for food to the mass population.”  Some of the basic principles of his teaching are cow protection, simple living/high thinking, living off the land by producing vegetarian foods and protecting the earth the mother of mankind. In 1975 Srila Prabhupada told us at Gita Nagri that just to preach cow protection is not sufficient. You have to show people by example that the cow is the mother of mankind by milking the cow and a show that the bull is the father of mankind by working in the fields. My mission is to create a living example of these teachings in a beautiful farm setting that will melt the hearts of the American people.
